advised that the spam you received is part of a campaign of harassment
- known as a Joe Job - against me. This means that the spammer has spoofed my email address and very likely a false header onto an unsolicited
mass-mailing for the purpose of retaliating against me for reporting
his spam.
You are welcome to report spam that appears to be sent from my email
address to its originating network, and the network hosting the advertised
web site. To be sure you report them to the correct networks, I suggest

This attack initially occurred for about a month in January and February
of 2003. It seemed that I had given the spammer enough grief that he
decided to quit. However, it appears that either he, or another spammer,
briefly resumed in November of 2003.
